This elegant and stylish dwelling received a total makeover after having been left mostly untouched for 25 years. Since the family moved back from Jakarta to Wollstonecraft in the wake of Covid, this one-of-a-kind triple-split-level townhouse was ready for a refresh to turn it into the forever home it was going to become.

The designers took the project on headfirst, stripping the townhouse back to its bare bones before fitting it out with new flooring, doors, joinery, finishes, furnishings and lighting.

Accents of Parisian flair are felt throughout, with the colour scheme also working impeccably with the surrounding landscape thanks to its clear whites and the Dulux Blue Rhapsody Gloss paint for a bright yet refined pop of colour.

The natural textures of timber and marble add a grounded element to the home to create balance with the block colouring on the cabinets and drawers.

Golden finishes add that extra touch of refinement, with Momo Handles’ Barrington range spread throughout. They complement the yellow veining in the marble fireplace mantle while also adding contrast to the coolness of the blue to create an instant impact.
